Never in a million years would I have thought that a poodle was the breed for me. Infact, I thought they were poncy dogs with a silly haircut, that was until I started grooming back in 1995. As the years went on I began to realise that poodles were far more than just a a haircut and there was so much more to them. I began researching them on the internet and came across what was referred to as a 'phantom' basically a poodle with the same markings as a Rottie or Dobe. I was in love!

I was interested in only a toy or a standard and I didn't want a brown. So in 2001 a Brown and Cream Miniature Poodle arrived. I was smitten by the minis! Tala was my soulmate but sadly died when she was just two years old.

I bought some solids and in 2007 I imported a black and tan boy from Germany and he was the start of my black and tan lines.

My aim is to concentrate on only the black and tans and not any other colour variation and produce quality typey poodles in that colour.

Health, type and temperament are more important than colour.
